Suzanne was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. After attending the University Of Colorado, Boulder and University of California, Hastings Law School she became a Public Defender. Having working as a public defender and subsequently as a community activist, she saw many resilient families get back on their feet, only to be pulled right back into the system because of the lack of resources and a sense of pride in their homes. It is precisely because of that experience that she established Moving Families Forward.
